NextPros

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Handiers, Inc. (“Handiers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with NextPros, including our websites, mobile applications, text-messaging channel, AI assistant features, wearable companion features, subscription and billing pages, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

NextPros is currently intended for users in the United States. Our text-messaging channel is available only in the United States.

1. Information We Collect

Account, Business, and Authentication Information

We may collect:

Phone-number verification codes may be sent through Firebase Authentication.

SMS Messaging Information

We operate a toll-free text-messaging number, (888) 401-9944. We do not send you text messages unless you first message that number, or you opt in to receive notifications.

When you message us, or when we message you, we collect:

Messages are transmitted and processed by our messaging provider, Twilio, and by wireless carriers. Message content is processed by our AI service providers so we can generate a reply and take the actions you request.

SMS is not an encrypted channel. Do not send payment card numbers, bank account numbers, government identification numbers, passwords, health information, or other sensitive data by text.

Anyone may text our published number. If you text us without creating an account, we still collect and process the information described above.

Customer Data Entered by Pros

NextPros helps service professionals manage their own customers, jobs, schedules, estimates, invoices, and service reports.

When a professional user enters information about a customer — including by sending it to us in a text message — that information is “Customer Data.” Customer Data may include:

We process Customer Data to provide the Services to the professional user and their company, including customer management, scheduling, job management, file storage, service reports, AI features, billing workflows, and support.

The professional user is responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to enter, upload, use, and disclose Customer Data through NextPros, including information sent to us by text message.

Team and Company Information

If you use company or team features, we may collect team member names, emails, phone numbers, roles, permissions, company membership, team assignments, and invitation information.

Contacts

If you grant contacts permission, NextPros allows you to select specific contacts from your device and import the selected contact information into your customer records.

We do not upload your entire address book. We do not sell imported contacts or use them for third-party advertising.

Photos, Files, Audio, Video, and Other Content

We collect content you upload, create, attach, or generate through the Services, including:

We refer to this content as “User Content” or “User Files.” Uploaded files may be stored using third-party cloud storage services.

Location and Mapping Information

If you grant location permission, we may process your device location while you are using the app to support maps, job-site arrival detection, ETA, routing, scheduling, and related field-service features.

We may also process job, customer, and business addresses for maps, geocoding, route, and schedule features. These features may use Google Maps Platform, including maps, places, geocoding, directions, and traffic-related services.

We currently describe our location use as foreground, while-you-use-the-app location use. If we later enable background or always-on location collection, we will provide any required notice and permission request before doing so.

You can disable location permissions in your device settings, but some map, ETA, arrival, or scheduling features may not work.

AI Assistant Information

NextPros includes AI assistant features for text, voice, job intake, scheduling, customer-message drafts, invoice or estimate drafts, field notes, business summaries, and related workflows. These features also power our text-messaging channel.

When you use AI features, we may process:

We may use third-party AI service providers, machine learning models, speech processing services, transcription services, language models, and related infrastructure providers to provide AI functionality.

We do not use User Content to train our own AI models. We require our AI service providers to process User Content only as needed to provide, secure, monitor, and improve the requested AI features, or as otherwise permitted by their applicable terms, our agreements with them, and applicable law.

Depending on the provider, configuration, and feature, AI service providers may temporarily process or retain prompts, inputs, outputs, audio, transcripts, metadata, or related context for purposes such as delivering the service, abuse monitoring, safety, reliability, security, debugging, or legal compliance.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using, sending, or relying on it.

Wearable Companion Information

If you use Apple Watch, Wear OS, or another companion device feature, we may process compact job, schedule, and status information needed to display today’s work, selected job context, approval cards, and AI results.

Wearable voice features may capture microphone audio on the wearable device and transfer the recording or related metadata to your phone or our Services for processing. Wearable payloads may include selected job IDs, occurrence keys, job titles, schedule information, customer names, customer phone numbers, short address labels, and approval status.

Customer Communications You Prepare

NextPros may help prepare SMS, email, phone, service-report, invoice, estimate, review-request, or payment-link drafts for you to send to your own customers.

We do not send messages to your customers on your behalf. For those communications, the app may open your device’s SMS, phone, email, or share composer, and you decide whether to send the message. This is separate from the NextPros text-messaging channel described above, which is a conversation between you and us.

Payment and Billing Information

Subscription and billing flows may be handled through NextPros web pages and payment providers such as Stripe. We may receive subscription status, plan, trial, entitlement, invoice, checkout, and billing metadata.

We do not store full payment card numbers directly on NextPros systems. Payment information is processed by our payment providers.

Device, Usage, Analytics, and Security Information

We may collect:

We use tools such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Firebase Messaging, Sentry, Wix or similar website infrastructure providers, and similar providers for analytics, reliability, notifications, security, and troubleshooting.

Our website uses Google Analytics to measure page views, scrolling, section visibility, button and link clicks, video playback, form submissions, and time on page so we can understand which parts of the site are useful. We do not enable Google Analytics advertising, remarketing, or ad-personalization features on this website.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

3. AI Safety and User Approval

Some NextPros AI features can prepare drafts, suggestions, or proposed actions.

Certain actions require user approval or confirmation before execution, including customer communications, schedule changes, estimate or invoice sends, payment links, team assignments, location sharing, refunds, deletions, and legal or compliance wording. This applies to instructions you send by text message as well: for higher-risk actions, our assistant will ask you to confirm before it proceeds.

Text messages cannot authenticate the sender. We treat messages from a number associated with your account as coming from you. Review your job records in the app or web dashboard and correct any errors.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using, sending, or relying on it.

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to:

Service Providers

We use service providers to host, store, process, secure, analyze, and operate the Services. These may include providers for:

These providers process information for us or on our behalf to provide the Services, support our operations, secure the Services, or perform other permitted business purposes.

Your Customers, Team Members, and Intended Recipients

We disclose information when you direct us to do so, such as when you:

Legal, Safety, and Compliance

We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Sales, Sharing, Advertising, and Tracking

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not sell User Files, Customer Data, selected imported contacts, precise location information, or AI inputs.

No sharing of mobile opt-in data

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message content and consent information are shared only with the service providers that help us deliver the messaging service — such as Twilio and our AI processors — and only as needed to provide the Services or as required by law. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use analytics and operational tools to understand product usage, improve reliability, measure performance, and secure the Services. These tools must be configured consistently with this Privacy Policy. If we later enable third-party advertising, retargeting pixels, or other technologies that constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable privacy laws, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required opt-out rights.

Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers or extensions may send “Do Not Track” signals. There is no uniform industry standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, and our websites and apps do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

Some browsers or extensions may send Global Privacy Control or similar opt-out preference signals. Because we do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, these signals do not currently change how we process personal information.

If we later engage in activity that legally requires honoring Global Privacy Control or another opt-out preference signal, we will honor such signals as required by applicable law.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our providers may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to:

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Mobile devices also provide settings for analytics, advertising identifiers, notifications, and app permissions.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and maintain security.

Retention periods depend on the type of information, account status, legal requirements, user settings, deletion requests, backup cycles, and operational needs.

Examples:

SMS trial data

If you use the text-messaging channel on a trial basis without an account, we delete your trial conversation content — and any jobs, notes, or other content created during the trial — 30 days after the last message you send to us. Messages we send to you do not extend this period.

Before deletion we send you one notice. You may reply KEEP to that notice to keep your trial data for another 30 days. KEEP may be used once.

After deletion, that content is gone and cannot be recovered, and any pending notifications for it will not be sent.

What we keep after deletion

We retain, indefinitely, a one-way hash of your mobile number, together with the fact that a trial was used and any opt-out you have made. We keep this only to:

  1. enforce our one-trial-per-number limit and prevent abuse of the free trial; and
  2. honor your opt-out, so that we do not message you again.

This record does not contain your message content. Because we keep it, deleting your data does not make you eligible for a new trial, and does not remove your number from our opt-out list.

We retain records of SMS consent and opt-out for at least four years after they are given or withdrawn, so that we can comply with telemarketing and consumer protection laws. These records are not deleted by the 30-day trial deletion described above.

Account holders

If you create an account, the 30-day trial deletion no longer applies to you. Your trial conversation and any content created during it become part of your account and are retained under the general practices described in this Section.

9. Your Choices

You may have the following choices, depending on your account, device, and applicable law:

10. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Some U.S. state privacy laws provide rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. These laws may apply only to businesses that meet specific legal thresholds.

Depending on where you live and whether applicable law applies to us, you may have rights to:

To make a request, contact us at privacy@handiers.com.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We may deny or limit requests where allowed by law, including when information is needed to provide the Services, complete transactions, comply with law, protect security, prevent fraud, or maintain business records.

If you ask us to delete your information

We will delete your information as required by law, but we will retain the hashed mobile number, opt-out record, and consent records described in Section 8. Retaining that minimal information is necessary to prevent abuse of our free trial and to make sure we do not send you messages after you have opted out. If we deleted it, repeat trials would be possible and we would lose the record of your opt-out.

11. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

Where applicable, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

We collect and use these categories for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, AI features, the text-messaging channel, maps, customer and job management, billing, communications, analytics, security, support, and legal compliance.

We disclose these categories to the service providers and recipients described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for unrelated purposes.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Text messages are not encrypted in transit across wireless carrier networks and can be read on any device that receives them. Do not send sensitive information by text.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, devices, passwords, and access permissions.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 18.

Our text-messaging number is published publicly, and anyone can text it. The text-messaging channel is for business users 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If we learn that a number belongs to a person under 18, we may decline service, delete the associated information, and block the number. If we learn that a number belongs to a child under 13, we will delete the associated information and block the number.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at privacy@handiers.com and we will take appropriate steps.

14. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services, including app stores, payment processors, messaging providers such as Twilio, wireless carriers, maps providers, sign-in providers, communication tools, AI providers, and websites.

Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as required by law.
